Welcome To
International Association
for Society and Natural Resources
Regional hubs of the IASNR can be established for a variety of reasons related to advancing the goals of IASNR or extending the reach of the Association in different regions of the world. To evaluate and discuss hub activities and to identify shared topics of interest across the hubs, matters of process, or connectivity within the IASNR framework, IASNR has formed a Hubs Committee consisting of the IASNR Executive Officers and Regional Representatives. Members of regional hubs are encouraged to become members of IASNR and receive the benefits of IASNR membership
OUR
Vision
IASNR Hubs reflect an interdisciplinary professional association open to individuals with a variety of social science and natural science backgrounds to bear on research and application strategies in environment and natural resources. Hub members should foster a welcoming and diverse environment that encourages the free expression in the exchange of ideas and respect of the dignity of all people.
THE
Mission
Each IASNR Hub is coordinated by a Hub Executive Committee. Hubs can initiate activities such as scientific meetings, seminars, and professional networking. Hubs have their own governing procedures, approved by the IASNR Council, and can set their own fees. A student scholarship is provided to each hub for partial travel support to attend the IASNR conference.
